7G2 homework tip

To find the 50th term of a sequence, replace n with 50.

Example

Sequence is 2, 5, 8, 11, 14, .....

nth term is 3n - 1 (goes up by 3 each time, take away 1)

50th term is 3 x 50 - 1 = 149
